What is Scabies?

A mite known as Sarcoptes scabiei causes a skin infection known as Scabies. When this condition remains untreated the microscopic mites have chances of living on your skin for a couple of months. The worst part is the reproduction of these mites on your skins surface that further burrow into it and finally lay eggs resulting in an itchy skin. This itching further leads to red rashes. Scabies symptoms include rash, sores, itching and thick crusts.
